Dusting off this journal

Hello all!

I'm going to dust off this journal and give it a minor facelift. Man it has really been a while hasn't it! I should try to remember to post here again for the fanfiction that I have uploaded. I plan on using this just as a creative space journal for any and all creative endeavors that I want to post. I can't guarantee I'll post regularly but I'll try.

Right now I am working on a knitted blanket.

Looking for Fic Opinions

Hello everyone!

I’m working on a fic and I’d like a bit of input since I’ve been waffling over several different character decisions for a while and I thought it might be fun to have a some thoughts and interactions with others to see where this story may go. If I have fun with working in this sort of format I might see about doing a live fic version sometime in the future where the entire fic’s decision making will be interactive.

Now just as a forewarning this fic will be a dark fic. With that being mentioned I’ll give you guys a little blurb for what the core of the fic is going to be about without really any spoilers.

The Great War is brought to an end, not because either faction has won but because of a greater enemy entering the battle front forcing both factions to work together for not only their survival as a species but for humanity as well. Both Cybertron and Earth have been compromised by a parasitic species that consume worlds before moving on to the next inhabited planet and starting their cycle anew. The setting is mostly G1 but I will not be opposed to suggestions from IDW’s G1 continuity.

What I’m looking for:

1. Your top five autobots and top five decepticons.

If you are really ambitious:

1. Suggestions for deactivated autobots and decepticons
2. Suggestions for autobots and decepticons whose fate is undecided
3. Suggestions for infected autobots and decepticons
4. Pairings, but please do not be upset if I don’t use your suggestions.

Important notes:

Not every member of each gestalt team will survive. Prowl is already taken as part of a rare pairing. As mentioned earlier the setting is mostly G1 but I will not be opposed to suggestions from IDW’s G1 continuity.

Well this was suppose to be a fill for the tf_rare_pairing a couple weeks ago but was delayed due to crazy work schedules and even crazier convention preparation. I may eventually add a second chapter to this story but that is to be determined. So for now enjoy

NanoWriMo

Well I figured I might as well update this little journal of mine and yes this is relevant to my fanish blog that I update on occasion. I am working on NanoWriMo this lovely November and it's going to be kind of a kaleidoscope collage of words on the page. I am writing just to write with no real rhyme or reason. I will be working on headworld stuff for original stories and fanfiction as well as working on said original story and any fanfiction that wants to flow across my radar.

Any fanfiction that I finish chapters for will be posted to my Ao3 account. Original works I will covet and try to finish as time goes by.

So far in my two day stretch I have managed just over 4,000 words. Not hugely great but it's not too horrible either. Wish me luck on reaching my 50K words.

Starting a new Challenge

Well I have been working well on Tears and Rain and I had planed on trying to finish chapter 4 before starting my next challenge but I have decided to put this chapter on hold. At least long enough to be able to write the first chapter for the Anniversary challenge for the prowlxjazz This is going to be quite a challenge too. Since I have decided to not chose just 7 prompts for the challenge but 14. The story as it has started to develop in my mind is working on trying to turn itself into a monster just as Tears and Rain has. If my muses keep moving a long I hope to be able to alternate chapters between the new challenge and Tears and Rain.

One more day!

One more day till the series premier of Doctor Who. I'm so excited! I'm getting together with another Whovian friend and we are going to spend tomorrow night watching the new Doctor. I have spent most of the week watching various episodes of Doctor Who. Some of the new specials have been fantastic. Just to see what is upcoming and all the diversity of the Whovians around the world.

Writing and other things

Apparently fic writing is going well for me. I'm plugging away at Tears and Rain. I've started Chapter 4. So I'm cruising along well with that. It's making some of my original works stir some which is good. But I will still continue to write on the fics till original works try to take over.

Still working on trying to pick out prompts for the prowlxjazz Anniversary challenge. Apparently Jazz feels the need to interrupt my work on Tears and Rain. I think he just wants me to settle on prompts, at least I hope that he just wants me to settle on prompts. Because of this I think I have a couple more that I settled upon. On another note Doctor Who starts back up on Saturday. Super excited for the new season. Today started the Doctor Who marathon on BBC America and I think on my two days off I shall indulge in the brilliance of Doctor Who. Maybe one of these days I will sit down and start doing reviews for the series.

I'm super curious as to how the new doctor is going to work out. All the trailers so far make the series look like it may carry a bit of that darker tone once again just as Doctor 9 reintroduced us to the series again.

The Khazm on Dreamwidth

I figured I'd start up my fan journal here as well since I know that not everyone is on LJ. Might as well right. It will allow me to cross post to both journals so nothing will be missed hopefully.

So hello and welcome to "The Khazm" also known as my fan journal/blog...what ever you wish to call it. It's going to be a little crazy but hopefully a whole lot of fun and very random I am sure. Anything from artwork to character profiles may pop up here along with random writings. This is going to be my sort of no holds bar journals for any thing that runs across this extremely active brain of mine that is related to any fandom I follow. Believe me folks the list is by no means small and encompasses anything from books, to movies, to tv series, to music so on and so forth. You name the genera it may or may not show up here depending on if I follow it.

Right now I'm on a fiction binge apparently. My next post will be my first official fandom post here. With chapter 2 of Tears and Rain.
